Describing what I do is never easy, but here goes...

I'm a church musician, composer, and songwriter based in Northamptonshire. Music has always been at the heart of my life. I can remember creating tunes and songs as a child, and that instinct to write music has never really left me. Until recently, however, those compositions largely remained personal projects.

I am fortunate to enjoy a wonderfully varied musical life. Whether I am leading traditional church music, playing the church organ, performing New Orleans jazz on the trumpet, or enjoying traditional Irish folk music on accordion and tin whistle, each of these influences finds its way into my compositions. Above all, I hope my love of melody shines through in everything I write.

I am particularly passionate about creating music that is memorable and singable, whether for congregations, choirs, or solo performers. Music has a unique ability to uplift, inspire, and bring meaning to our lives, and it continues to do so in mine.

You'll also find audio previews throughout the site. While I'm certainly not a solo singer and would be the first to admit it, I hope these recordings give you a sense of the music itself.
